When you submit an online consultation, our prescribers will evaluate your suitability for prescription eyelash growth treatment. Any medication prescribed will be clinically-proven and evaluated for safety for use for eyelash growth—but please note that prescribing decisions are up to the individual prescriber.
Subject to your suitability for treatment, our prescribers will recommend a solution that mimics a natural hormone in the body that stimulates hair growth. When the treatment is applied to hair follications it can lead to both longer and thicker lashes.

Unlike over-the-counter eyelash treatments (i.e. anything you can purchase without a prescription), the medications we prescribe are backed up by extensive clinical evidence for eyelash growth and has a well-researched safety profile. There are some over-the-counter products that contain a similar compounds, however the safety and efficacy of these products has not been evaluated.
Our treatment is only available as a prescription. There are some over-the-counter versions, however these products do not have as solid of scientific evidence for eyelash growth (and they tend to charge £££ since they’re marketed as cosmetics, not pharmaceuticals).
Everyone’s eyelashes are different, but in general you should start to see results within a couple of months. We recommend giving it at least 16 weeks to evaluate whether the treatment has been effective for you.

Our treatment may not work for everyone, however solid scientific evidence shows that about 80% of people see significant improvements after 4 months.
For the science nerds: In a multicenter, randomized, double-masked, vehicle-controlled, parallel-group study (put simply, the best in the business), 78.1% of participants saw improvement in their Global Eyelash Score (GEA—yes, that’s a really thing) at 16 weeks.[1]

These restrictions are based on clinical best practice, so please rest assured that, if we’ve been unable to approve your prescription, it’s for your own safety! Anyone who does will prescribe you treatment without first checking these contraindications would be doing so without following proper clinical guidance.

The use of prescription-strength eyelash growth treatment for patients under the age of 18 has not been studied, and therefore it is not licensed for use by younger patients.
To put it simply, once nightly before bed, on a clean face. Apply the solution carefully, only to the upper lash line, using a brush we provide in order to minimise the chance of experiencing side effects. Use a new brush each day to reduce risk of contamination to the bottle.

In short, no! Our treatment works by promoting the natural cycle of eyelash growth, which you cannot speed up. In addition, our treatment has only been evaluated for safety in once per day application, so it is not recommended to apply it more frequently.
The compound we prescribe is generally regarded as very safe by the scientific literature, however some people may experience side effects. The most frequently reported adverse events in a study of 278 patients were eye pruritis (eye itchiness), conjunctival hyperemia (eye redness), skin hyperpigmentation, ocular irritation, dry eye symptoms, and erythema of the eyelid. These events occurred in less than 4% of patients.[1] If you experience any of these side effects, please discontinue use.

Relatively uncommon! The most common side effects reported in a large trial of were reported in less than 4% of participants. To minimise side effects, it’s important to follow application instructions and ensure that you’re applying the solution in a thin line carefully along your upper last line, with a new brush every day.
Iris hyperpigmentation - or the darkening of the coloured part of the eye - has been reported in a small percentage of patients using Lumigan®, which is dropped directly into the eye (Lumigan® is 0.03% bimatoprost prescribed for patients with glaucoma as eyedrops). This is more common in patients with hazel or green eyes, whereas blue and brown-eyed patients were less effected. Reports of eye colour changes as a result of bimatoprost 0.03% applied to the upper lashline, however, are rare.
Just follow the instructions... no, really! By that we mean:
For starters, we’ll be super sad! Other than that, your lashes will, over time, return to their normal, pre-Flutter length. Unlike eyelash extensions, our treatment doesn’t damage your eyelashes, so the only downside of stopping is that you won’t continue to enjoy supercharged lashes.
